Description

Pkake, Pakalana, and Lokelani are the dainty flowers featured in this design and were chosen for their fragrant smell, soft colors, and significance to the Hawaiian Isles. The individual strands are nice on their own, but when twisted together they create something extra special. Pakalana is represented by the green strand, although its petals can range from green to mustard. Pkake, the white strand, is sweet smelling and known to be Princess Kaiulani’s favorite flower. The Lokelani, the rose bud strand, is Maui’s official island flower and the only non-native flower to represent one of our islands.
